1. I own a brand new yarn shop in south Austin Texas.
2. I don't think I will ever get tired of saying that.
3. My husband recently sold his insurance agency in the Houston area (Pasadena) so we could move to Austin full time and I could open The Knitting Nest (Isn't he wonderful?).
4. We have two kids, a 25-year-old son and a 22-year-old daughter.
5. The 25 year old, Matt, is married and lives in Baytown with his new wife, Desiree.
6. The 22 year old, Amanda, attends St. Edward's University here in Austin and lives with her cat Rudy.
7. I love James Taylor and Tom Hanks.
8. I also love Martha’s Vineyard.
9. We have two cats, Noelle and Miss Kitty - and one wonderful puppy, Hank.
10. I have two brothers – an older one and a younger one.
11. My younger brother is an artist and not only do I love him, I LIKE him. You will see his children on here frequently because I learned to knit especially for them.
